This 4 Days Flying Safari Kidepo Valley National Park tour is a unique Uganda tour by air offering an opportunity to fly to kidepo valley national one of Uganda isolated national parks yet rich in wildlife and bio diversity. It’s situated in north eastern Uganda in a region occupied by Uganda pastoral tribes (Karimojongs) hence offering a rich experiences of the Uganda culture on top of viewing the wildlife such as the lions, giraffes, buffaloes, leopards, elephants, hyenas, antelopes and rare bird species.
Itinerary for the 4 Days Flying Safari Kidepo Valley National Park
Day 1: FLY FROM ENTEBBE INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT TO APOKA AIRSTRIP
Depending on your flights into Entebbe international Airport you will be met by our company representative who will brief you about the Uganda wildlife safari in Kidepo valley national Park. The domestic flight to Kidepo is scheduled at 12:30pm and arrival at the airstrip is at 14:45 pm.
Arrival at Apoka park headquarters, check in luxurious Apoka Lodge for relaxation as you wait for dinner and overnight.
Day 2: MORNING AND AFTERNOON GAME DRIVES
This morning after breakfast, embark on an early morning game drive through the park to encounter Zebras, Giraffes, and many more that roam the short grassland plains of the Narus valley. The Scenic view is splendid with Mount Lotukei in the far background in the Sudan. Lunch at the lodge.
In the afternoon, embark on another game drive along the Nagosokopire circuit. Appreciating beautiful sunset behind the long Nyangea ranges gives you perfect opportunity for taking pictures. Return to your lodge for relaxation for dinner and overnight.
Day 3: HOT SPRING & KIDEPO VALLEY VISITS
Breakfast and transfer to the hot springs, past a nice Lopelangoria observatory point, Kidepo River up to the Hot spring. This scenic area will bring you close to the Hot spring and observe almost the entire park, and be able to sight the ostriches as they roam the short grassy plains. Come back to the lodge for breakfast & lunch.
After lunch have nature guided walk. Return to your lodge for relaxation, dinner and overnight.
Day 4: FLY BACK TO ENTEBBE FOR YOUR FLIGHT BACK HOME
Have breakfast at leisure and prepare to board your domestic flight back to Entebbe international Airport scheduled departure at 15:00 pm and arrival into Entebbe airport at 16:30pm and connect to your international flights back home.
