This 15 Days Uganda safari gives you an insight of the Uganda popular attractions and tourism. The Uganda safaris starts from Kampala to lake Mburo national park doing game drives to view wildlife like buffaloes, zebras, oribis, leopard. Later head to bwindi impenetrable forest national park to do gorilla trekking.

Depart from bwindi to queen Elizabeth national park through ishasha sector viewing the rare tree climbing lions. While at queen you will be to conduct game drives in the park viewing several wildlife species including some on the big five, have a boat cruise on Kazinga channel, later head to kibale forest national park home to several primates, do chimpanzee tracking, watching monkeys and do bird watching, depart from Kibale to Murchison falls national park for another wildlife experience, launch cruise on the nile viewing crocodiles and hippos.

Leave Murchison for kidepo valley national park in the karamojo sub region do game drives and view some of tha rare wildlife sepceis that cat be found in other parks and later leave kidepo to kitgum and back to kampala.

Itinerary for the 15 Days Uganda safari
Day 1: ENTEBBE
On your arrival at Entebbe International Airport in Uganda, you will be welcomed by our company guide and be briefed about your 15 Days Uganda experience safari and then transferred for an overnight in BB to the hotel at your hotel of preference.

Day 2: LAKE MBURO SAFARI
After breakfast at your hotel in Kampala, prepare to transfer to Lake Mburo National Park. As you enter the park, lunch, then go for a game drive in search for the beautiful impalas, elands, topi and many antelopes, buffaloes, zebras. Dinner and overnight at lodge of your preference

Day 3: LAKE MBURO NATIONAL PARK – BWINDI FOREST
After breakfast, another game drive in the park in search of more Impalas, Zebras and the abundant wealth of birdlife. Lunch and transfer to Bwindi Forest National Park. The choice of the area of the “gorilla safari” depends on the availability and allocation of the permits for this activity. Dinner and overnight depends of availability.

Day 4: MOUNTAIN GORILLA TREK
In the morning you enter the rain tropical forest of Bwindi for the gorilla safari. The activity starts at 8am and you will follow the ranger guides in a group of maximum 8 people as you search for the habituated family of mountain gorillas, which was allocated according to the permits. Ensure you take the packed lunch and water with you in the bag and for this you might need the support of available porters. Dinner and overnight as night before.

Day 5: BATWA EXPERIENCE TRAIL / SECOND GORILLA TREK
In the morning after breakfast, prepare to take on this amazing experience of this primitive and interesting group of people residing at the opening of the forest. The experience is a great adventure as you get to learn the way of life and culture of the indigenous Batwa pygmies who largely depend on hunting and fruit gathering for survival. Lunch, return to your lodge for dinner and overnight as night before. This day is also reserved for a second gorilla trek

Day 6: ISHASHA SECTOR – QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
On this day prepare to transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park via the Ishasha sector for the tree-climbing lions. Packed lunch. Have an evening game spotting the game in the park. Dinner and overnight at lodge of your preference.

Day 7: QUEEN ELIZABETH NATIONAL PARK
In the early morning, take a game drive along the tracks of the National Park, in the sectors and towards Lake George and Kasenyi village. You might see lions, elephants, buffaloes, spotted hyenas, waterbucks, Ugandan kobs, perhaps the leopard which is a rare sight. Lunch from the lodge. In the afternoon, take the most exciting safari by boat from Mweya peninsula along Kazinga channel, one of the most popular sites in Uganda for its concentration of wildlife, bird’s life and opportunities for good photographs. Return at lush to your lodge for dinner as night before

Day 8: QUEEN ELIZABETH – FORT PORTAL – KIBALE FOREST
After breakfast drive to Fort Portal the capital town of Tooro kingdom which lies on the shadow of Rwenzori Mountains, the biggest mountain range in Africa. Lunch. In the afternoon proceed to Bigodi Wetland sanctuary and visit the eco-tourist site of Bigodi for village walk. Bigodi is also another spot of interest to watch a variety of birds including the endemic Albertine species as well as the forest primates. Dinner and overnight at lodge of preference.

Day 9: CHIMPANZEE TREKKING
After breakfast, today activity is the chimpanzee tracking activity in Kibale National Park. You will enjoy while experiencing the rain tropical forest, birding and especially to encounter the chimpanzees in their natural environment. In the afternoon you have the opportunity to explore the region of the Kasenda Crater lakes with panoramic points and sceneries. Dinner and overnight as night before.

Day 10: FORT PORTAL – MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast your adventure continues up North by driving through Hoima and along the albertine region. You pass via Hoima the capital town of Bunyoro kingdom and through sugarcane, tea, banana, coffee and cocoa plantations. Lunch, Dinner and overnight at lodge of your preference.

Day 11: MURCHISON FALLS NATIONAL PARK
After a cup of coffee, you will depart for an early morning game drive using our safari vehicle to explore the Savannah, in the region of the delta of the Nile on Lake Albert, Northern bank. Among other animals in the wild, you might find elephants, lions, buffalos, giraffes, waterbucks, bushbucks, spotted hyenas and, very rarely, the leopards. Relax as you drive back to the lodge where you will have breakfast and lunch.

In the afternoon, another safari will be organized by boat along the river Nile to the base of the Murchison Falls. Later hike to the top of the falls and witness the mesmerizing area where the river squeezes through a narrow gorge and thuds down in beautiful gashes of water. Day 12: MURCHISON FALLS – KIPEDO VALLEY NATIONAL PARK
After an early breakfast, the trip proceeds Northwards to Kidepo Valley National Park. This park is named after the river traversing this region at the border between Sudan and Kenya. This is one of the most unspoilt, pure wild places remaining in Africa. Lunch en route. Dinner and overnight at lodge of preference.

Day 13: KIDEPO VALLEY NATIONAL PARK
After breakfast take the first photographic game drives along the trails of the national park and expect to explore the region of the river Narus valley. Kidepo contains one of the most exciting faunas of any Ugandan parks, with over 80 species of mammals several of which restricted only to Kidepo, like cheetah, striped hyena and caracal. The bird list boasts over 465 species. Apart from the game drive, on request a visit to the local Karimojong homestead or “manyattas” can be organised. Dinner and overnight as previous night

Day 14: KIPEDO VALLEY NATIONAL PARK – KITGUM
After breakfast, second photographic safari and proceed through the Acholiland to Kitgum. Arrive in the evening for dinner and overnight in Kitgum, at Bomah Hotel or similar. This local community tour will need to be booked in advance

Day 15: KITGUM – ENTEBBE
The program ends with return back to Kampala and transfer to Entebbe International Airport for late evening of night flights. Lunch en route.
