3 Day Tour to Akagera Itinerary
Day 1: Arrival and Transfer to Akagera National Park
When you arrive, we shall pick you up from the airport and transfer you to Akagera National Park for a 2 hours morning game drive, return at our lodge for a lunch break and then head for an afternoon boat ride on one of Rwanda’s largest lakes, Lake Ihema. After this boat ride, we shall retire to our accommodation facility for dinner and overnight.

Day 2: Full day game drive
This day calls for a very early morning breakfast meal because we have to embark on a 3 hour journey to the northern section of Akagera National Park. This journey is quite long hence, you ought to have packed lunch for you to enjoy it from the bush during lunch. We shall have guaranteed sights of mammals like Elephants, Topis and buffaloes as we drive via the steep hills of Mutumba. This day we shall spend the rest of out time viewing wildlife and then later on return to our accommodation facility for dinner and an overnight.

Day 3: Early morning game drive and transfer to Kigali City
This is the day we patch up for whatever we didn’t spot in the last two days. We shall rise to an early morning breakfast and begin and our game viewing drive as early as 7:00 am for a few hours and then transfer back to Kigali City for lunch at Hotel Rwanda (Hotel Mille Des Collines) and later on be dropped at the airport for your flight back home.
